The Sofreh Aghd Table Cloth

The items of the Sofreh Aghd are not restricted to the items on the Sofreh Aghd. No less important are the chairs in which the couple sit at the Sofreh Aghd, and the table cloth on which items will be placed.

The table cloth is traditionally white, which symbolizes purity, but otherwise may vary from a simplicity and plainness intended to highlight the other items, to an intricately sewn material or heirloom intended to proclaim the quality of the family and the union.
